This fee is billed when a pharmacy or patient has requested a refill for a prescription and there are no re-fills remaining on the prescription and the prescribing medical provider has reviewed the request and approved a renewal. Once paid, the prescription will be faxed to the requesting pharmacy or patient's pharmacy of choice.
