When should I start medical aesthetics treatments?
The answer is not when, but why?
If you look at your reflection and what you see doesn’t match with how you feel or wish to feel then it may be reasonable to have a consultation. Here are some examples of reasons that commonly motivate people to seek medical aesthetics treatment:
I have scars from acne, and it’s all I see when I look in the mirror.
I like my moles, but not that one.
I feel my face is asymmetrical and I’d like to be more balanced.
I had a lot of sunburn when I was younger and now I see the sun damage it has caused.
I would love to have a nicer complexion so I can wear less makeup.
I feel like I’m frowning all the time and people think I’m upset when I’m not.
I hate these ‘smokers lines’ – I’m not even a smoker!
I sweat SO much, I’ve tried everything, is there anything I can do about that?
My hair is thinning, can I slow that process down or improve the situation?
I’m okay with aging, but I just feel a bit saggy and wonder if that can be improved a bit.
Love my babies, don’t love my stretch marks.
I’m happy with my appearance and I’d like to be proactive about preserving it.
I had an injury and the scar bugs me to this day.
I look tired all the time, I wonder if anything that can help that?
My skin is:
Dull
Oily with lots of pores
Starting to have fine lines
Developing patches of pigment
Feeling looser and thinner
What can I do to improve that?
There are many reasons people visit an aesthetics clinic. Most are not looking to change the way they look. They’re looking to slow the momentum of aging without transforming their appearance. Some want to restore brightness in their complexion, soften contrasts and achieve a harmonious balance in their appearance. Some want to correct something that’s been bothering them. There is no right or wrong reason, no specific age, no time that is too soon or too late. When you’ve decided you want to address something that’s been on your mind – that’s the right time.
