Are there any contraindications to treatment?

Very few! The hydrofacial is exceptionally safe for almost all skin types. However, you should avoid or delay treatment if you have open wounds, active skin infections (such as cold sores), severe cystic acne flare-ups, sunburns, or if you have used Accutane within the past six months. Some specialized booster serums or chemical peel steps within the facial may also be adjusted if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have allergies or skin sensitivities.
